We take manufacturers from first question to first European contract.

Qiao Partners helps Chinese producers, manufacturers and brands enter Europe. We diagnose the market, build the go-to-market strategy, find and qualify buyers, and set up the entity, certification and tax structure with specialist partners in Poland and across the EU.

In the other direction, we help European companies set up in China: entity formation, production moves, cost estimates and market strategy. We are advisers, not investors: we do not manage money or give investment advice.

Frequently asked questions.

How does a Chinese manufacturer start selling in the EU?

Four steps: confirm the product rules (CE marking and sector rules such as the Batteries Regulation), decide who acts as the EU economic operator (an importer, a distributor or your own entity), price against European competitors, and line up the first buyers. Our market diagnosis covers all four in 4–6 weeks.

Do we need a company in Poland or elsewhere in the EU?

Not always. Many manufacturers start through an importer or distributor. An EU entity pays off once you hold stock, bid in tenders, offer local warranty and service, or assemble in Europe. We set it up with partner law and tax firms.

Why use Poland as the entry point to Europe?

Poland is a large, fast-growing energy market with central logistics for Central and Eastern Europe, lower operating costs than Western Europe, and a corporate income tax exemption for new manufacturing investments under the Polish Investment Zone. We are based in Warsaw.

What is the EU battery passport and when does it apply?

From 18 February 2027, industrial batteries above 2 kWh, electric-vehicle batteries and light-means-of-transport batteries placed on the EU market need a digital battery passport, reached by QR code (EU Batteries Regulation, Article 77).

Can you help with CBAM and the EU ETS?

Yes. We explain how CBAM and the EU ETS affect your product's cost and price in Europe, and work with specialists on reporting and compliance.

Do you work with government bodies?

Yes. We engage ministries, investment agencies and regulators on market access, permits and incentives, together with our legal partners.

Do you invest in projects or give investment advice?

No. We are commercial advisers. We do not invest, manage funds or give investment advice.

How do your fees work?

A fixed fee for the market diagnosis, a monthly retainer for business development and, in some mandates, a success fee on signed commercial contracts. The first 30-minute call is free.
